To drink or not to drink cola...

I have been avoiding to drink cola. Not only because of weight issues, but also of sugar issues. Even if it is sugar-free, still I believe it's sugar content can kill me. This is a big issue to me if water is not around. I have no choice but to have cola or coffee.

But this article from Yahoo gave me another reason why we should avoid drinking too much cola.

Too Much Cola Can Cause Muscle Problems
- WEDNESDAY, May 27 (HealthDay News) -- Drinking too much cola can increase the risk of a muscle problem called hypokalemia, experts warn. In people with hypokalemia, a drop in blood potassium levels results in problems with vital muscle functions. Symptoms can range from mild weakness to serious paralysis, say Greek researchers who conducted a review of people who drank between two to nine liters of cola a day.
